Celebrating

Today was a busy day, but a fun day. First we were off to Sportball class with my 3 yr old. The class involved lots of balls and running with a bunch of 3-4 yr old kids and their parents. Then this evening we went to a surprise 40th birthday party for an old friend (by "old" I don't mean in age; 40 is looking younger and younger since I'll be there myself before long).

At the party the theme was "Dumb & Dumber". It was so much fun to see long time friends, some with kids of their own. I had fun watching my son running around with all the other kids. It was a really nice celebration, kind of like one big family, one big silly family.

Today I felt blessed to share in the ball class with my hubby and son; then to top it off celebrating with some great friends. We made new friends and celebrated with old friends and today that is what I'm thankful for.
