Well... with a slightly heavy heart I'm thankful that the job my hubby interviewed for he didn't get. It's not that I'm happy about it, but I have to trust that something better is in store for us.
I was reminded of a Garth Brooks song tonight that I think fits the situation:
"Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers
Remember when you're talkin' to the man upstairs
That just because he doesn't answer doesn't mean he don't care
Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers"
Well on with the show... I'm thankful that God knows what we need before we even ask!
Last year at this time we were dealing with Will just getting his notice of from his work that he has 4 wks notice. It was a trying time in our life. I was angry at God for it. Timing was lousy we were still trying to get through coping with the loss of our baby. He provided for us not in the way we wanted. It was a long 2-3 months for us but we came through it. Keep strong my friend. Praying for a job for Chris.
