I've worked for a home healthcare agency for about 9 years now in various facets. I've also been on the other end of home care, experiencing it with both sets of grandparents.
It's not easy to go into someone's home sometimes or to be the person in need of care, having someone come into your home. It can be a blessing to be able to assist someone to be able to stay in their home and it's definitely a blessing to be on the receiving end of that.
Today I'm thankful for the many Personal Support Workers and Nurses that are able to assist families in their homes. I'm thankful that I've been a part of that and definitely thankful for the help it's been and continues to be to my family.
