Free Healthcare

In a nutshell I'm thankful for our Canadian healthcare system, not perfect but pretty great!

Hubby had to go to emerg tonight to get some stucco removed from his eye. It's amazing to just be able to go and not worry about how we're going to pay for it. I mean the thought of paying for healthcare is so foreign to me and most Canadians.

There were parents there with little ones and I can't imagine thinking about how much a hospital visit would cost while worrying about your child's health.

We were in & out in a little over 2hrs, met a nice doctor who made the whole thing relatively painless for hubby! Oh also thankful Nana & Papa could take Liam.
